Any festival that invites grown men and women to roll around in foodstuff is okay
by us. At the World Grits Festival in St. George, South Carolina, from April 11 - 13
you can do that and more with the famed southern carb. There's grits grinding, grits
tasting, and a grits-eating contest - and when you finally can't stomach another mealy
mouthful, take in such entertainment as low-country dancers and a carnival.
