Just got this in an email...

I need your help getting the word out to all bikers. The VietNam Memorial wall is coming to Clemson University on 11/12/2008. We will stage at Greenville Pickens Fairgrounds next to the G.P. Speedway at 10am on the 12th. Ride briefing at 11:30, KSU at 12 noon, arriving at Bowman Field Clemson at 1:15. The Fairgrounds are at hyway 123 and hyway 124. We have 5 Veteran motorcycle organizations coming from out of state. We are hoping for 2000 bikes, making this the biggest escort ever. There will be law enforcement escort all the way. I will hold the speed down to 30 to 35mph so bring your big flags. Let's show America that we still care about our veterans, living or dead. Patriot Guard, Rolling Thunder,ABATE, and all motorcycles are invited. Need more info contact Joe Frasson 864-583-9858 office, 864-494-8428 cell, or jfrasson8@aol.com

This is "The Wall That Heals" sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, the fund that built the wall in Washington, and by far has the best museum of information and items from the Vietnam War and that era. I highly recommend not only the escort but also a visit or perhaps several while its in town. Take your kids and make any Vietnam Veteran you know of aware of the visit. This same replica of the Memorial in Washington, DC has been in Swannanoa, North Carolina and Clinton, South Carolina in 2007 and also Spartanburg earlier this year.

This ride was today and What an experience!!  I don't know how many bikes but around 400 or 450 I would say. I have some pictures and will post them in a day or two but want to get some pictures posted about the Hogs on the High Seas Cruise first.  Be on the lookout for the pictures of this ride.  It was a great tribute.

Were you there today Gary??
