Thank you to all of you who attended and made this a tremedous success for the children of the area. So many toys were collected and a total of about $4,500.00 was raised. Close to Christmas we have had the opportunity to help sort the toys, see the parents picking the toys for their children, understand the need and see the gratitude - so it is very personal for us.   Working with the Travelers Rest Police Department (headed up by LouAnn) and the organization and planning by Terry & Lee Cross,and your participation has made this an awesome toy run.  We appreciate you all coming and participating.

Arriving early for setup and transforming the parking lot into the exciting event forum. Tents were set up, food areas prepared and silent auction tables with bid items all handled within the next few hours. The area morphed to "yellow" as the workers changed into their Event Staff T-Shirts.

Watching the toy pile grow through the day just makes your heart feel good. Here is where it starts.  More of you coming in and lining up for registration.

The crowd grows...

Registration stayed real busy getting you all ready to head back out for your ride. T-Shirt sales were great and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Maddog did a wonderful job announcing all through the day. He has the perfect personality and voice for this job. This was also the opportunity to check out the silent auction items and place your beginning bids. When you come back from your ride, you check to see if you have been outbid and then bid again and again until the auction closes.
