The local Star Touring group is having their monthly ride tomorrow.  Any bike is welcome, even HD's (haha). License and insurance required, ride waiver must be signed.  Come as my guests. I'll either be at the restaurant or Dunkin Donuts at 9:00am.

Hey everyone

Saturday's ride to Hendersonville is a GO!!  Weather will not be an issue, 60 here ans mid 50's in Hendersonville.  We will probably extend the ride after the tour, have lunch at the BBQ place across from the Chimney Rock entrance then ride back through Lake Lure, Hwy 9 to Hwy 11.
Ride Itinerary for Model Train Museum, Hendersonville, NC

February 9, 2008

We will meet at 9:30 AM at The Spinx Station on Highway 25 just north of Travelers Rest.  When you see the Burger King and Walmart on Highway 25, continue north.  The next light is the meeting place.  I believe the cross street is Tigerville road.

Kickstands up at 10:00 AM. We will take Highway 25 north to I-26 West towards Asheville.

We will exit at Exit 49, Highway 64.  I'm not sure if it is a or B, but we go under the overpass to exit towards Downtown Hendersonville.

We will continue on Hwy 64 to where 7th Avenue bears to the right, then an immediate right on to Maple Street.  The museum is at 650 Maple Street.

When we complete our tour and depending on the weather we will either eat lunch in Hendersonville and head back or take hwy 64 to Bat Cave.  Staying on 64 towards Chimney Rock and have lunch at the BBQ place across from the Chimney Rock entrance.

After lunch we will continue on Hwy 64 through Lake Lure to Hwy 9.  We'll stay on Hwy 9 to Hwy 11 towards Greenville County.  We will probably stop once on the way back.

We'll continue on Hwy 11 where you'll drop off at the various locations to get home.
