I cannot even begin to imagine how it would feel to look around and not see the familiar daily things. It is tragic to lose your own things but others can offer support & comfort however when everyone has lost so much.... It must be hard to know where to start. It is great you went to help.

It was strange because there were no street signs anywhere. If we had not had GPS we would never found our way in the area we were assigned...
Little kids that were separated form their parents coming up to us..1st day we gave all our own food away...We packed some of the kids in out trucks so they would feel safe and could sleep......Ive worked four of these and I thiink this was the worse.....

Where did you stay?  Were there shelters that you searched for the family members of the children?  Hope these are not dumb questions but I really don't know alot about these kinds of things.  How far did you have to go to get more supplies... food, etc.
