What an adventure... Imagine 1800 Hogs on a ship, poker walk, 50/50's, belly flop contest, best beard contest, topless man contest, "treasured chest" contest and much more along with stops in the ports of Labadee, Haiti - Ocho Rios, Jamaica - Grand Cayman - Cozumel, Mexico. All of this fun and for a worthy cause. We knew this was a fund raiser cruise for Kidney Dialysis but I really knew very little about Kidney Dialysis. Now I know it is a life saving treatment for people who don't have functioning kidneys. Toxic wastes build up in the blood and tissues and cannot be filtered out by the kidney so the dialysis "filters" the blood requiring time hooked up to the machine making a trip like this seem impossible. However, that is part of the point of this cruise. 15 Dialysis patients were able to come with us and the equipment came along to provide their dialysis on board the ship. The fund raisers were so much fun, it made you want to give more.  See for yourself....                                  More to come...

We were served a fabulous buffet and spent the day on the beach. There was a zipline you could ride down from high up on a hill, jet skis to ride, kayaks, and parasailing. Native craft vendors were set up so we could purchase their wares. A true paradise.

Treasured Chest Contest

Being on the ocean brings out the pirate in some people. Many dressed the part and looked like they stepped out of the Pirates of the Carribean movie set.  The women dressed appropriately and moved through the crowd to collect money as men dug in their pockets.

Along with all these fun things on the ship, we have stops in several other ports. These are from Ocho Rios, Jamaica where we had a really big party in Marguaritaville.  In one of the games set up on stage three couples volunteered to compete and were told they had just a few minutes to totally change clothes with each other.  The pictures say all I can say.  Keep in mind I cannot print all the pictures I take - there are too many and also we are keeping this a family friendly viewing site.

It seems that the tropical feeling rubbed off on some of our HOGS
