The "Hare and The Hound" restaurant in Landrum  was our first destination today where we had a great lunch before heading on to Saluda, NC then to Green River Cove Road for a ride through continuous hairpin curves. The next destination was the Tiki Hut on the River at Lake Lure and a refreshing beverage helped to beat the 100 degree heat. Making a loop through Hendersonville we were concerned about getting caught in rain but it was our lucky day. As we passed through the watershed area near Camp Old Indian" there was water on the road but only a few drops got us.  Check out the aerial view of the curves.   It was another fun day riding....

Hey NCP,

Looks like ya'll had fun.

Today, I went up the watershed to Saluda, up through Hendersonville, got on the Blue Ridge Parkway, backdown to Brevard and home (Ware Place).

Let me know when ya'll are riding again.

That loop is a great ride too. Tongiht we went through the watershed aea to Saluda for supper and back. It was close to 100 degrees when we left here but dropped 20 degrees in while we were riding.  We will be going to Knoxville next weekend but will try to post the next ride if we know much ahead of time. Many are last minute "Where can we go now..." rides.

Now that the weather is warming up, this is a great ride to consider!  Get ready for some amazing curves...
