Wow - That is really great representation. Good idea on the photo.
It is funny how we are about our cameras, isn't it

I thought of the patch photo idea from an innercity club in Atlanta. They wear those bulletproof riding vest and show ther colors that way. Yep im pretty funny about my camera. Joe is a great friend a photographer too. Seems like I never get into the photos. Thanks.

I have gotten better about handing my camera to someone and therefore putting myself in the picture. When my daughter was in high school and we were preparing a senior page with her photos we had trouble finding some of she and I. I had taken most of the photos and were not in many. From then on I make sure I get in some. My children will want pictures of their mom sometimes.
I got a new camera recently too and have had to practice with the new touches. The focus is like the old 35 mm cameras instead of finger movement so it almost takes two hands. That is a feature I do not like and did not know it would be that way when I ordered it. But it has 20X zoom so that is a plus. I am getting used to it and beginning to get mostly good pictures instead of blurs!

Cool! What did you buy? I recently got a really nice used carbon fiber tripod that weighs about 5 lbs. Im learning to use my self timer to get more photos of me with my biker family. Hows the new house?

The camera is an Olympus SP-570UZ with a 20X Optical Zoom. That feature is great but you have to zoom using the part that in the 35mm cameras was the focus. It takes two hands to zoom and then focus. I had gotten used to one hand and could do pretty good going down the road on the bike (the back of course). With this one I have to choose a zoom level and then leave it at that most of the time when we are on the bike. I can't get it changed and focused fast enough when we are moving. But I had lots on practice on the trip and am doing better than when we left.
Guess you are having fun trying the new features on yours. I will be watching for some of the pix.
It was my son Jeff that moved. He has gone back to Clemson and is working on his masters this year. He moved into a house near campus while we were gone out west so I didn't even get to help him get settled in.
