The first leg of this trip is listed as Mt. Airy.
See Mt. Airy for details as we start this trip.

On day two when we leave Mt Airy we head up Squirrel Spur and stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Mayberry Trading Post

Next stop Mabry Mill - Bob has a picture of this mill in his house.

The mill was run by the Mabry's from 1910 - 1935. Behind the grist mill is a sawmill, blacksmith shop and other exhibits.

Look, Jeff and Nancy found Flintstone wheels.

Fog moved in on the parkway and made it real hard to see. I was taking picture to show the visibility of the bike in front of us. I snapped the 2nd picture and then passed the deer not realizing at the time I had taken his picture. He was right beside the road.

We had lunch was in the winery resturant at the Chateau Morrisette and did a little tour around the winery.

Ate supper at a small resturant in Meadows of Dan and on to our motel before dark.  We stayed at the Blue Ridge Motel on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Sure do know how to pack a day full.

Next day will be shown as Mtn. trip - Day 3 To Spruce Pine, NC
