Lexington, SC - An estimated 175 motorcycles of all types participated in ABATE of  Lexington’s Annual Toys for Tots ride on Sunday November 25th. I must say, there are some really big hearts in ABATE!  The parade ride started at 2 pm with Santa leading the way in very cool temperatures in the 40’s.  The 20-minute ride started at the Pit Stop Station at I-20 and Hwy 1 and was police escorted through downtown to Jack’s Custom Cycles in Lexington.   We were greeted at Jack’s by their personnel as well as some Marines and other active and retired military personnel.   Light rain began to fall about 3 pm and most riders left for home.  This was my first ride with ABATE and it was a great bunch of guys and gals.  All first rate in my book!  www.abateoflexington.com.
Merry Christmas and to all a good night!

The Whitten Center-Bub Lollis Annual Fall Ride was November 4.  Riders donated socks, bedroom shoes, hats, batteries and other items to Whitten Center in Clinton.  Residents sat outside and watched as an estimated 1,000 bikes paraded through the center.  “Mama” of Clouds of Thunder Motorcycle Ministry of Laurens has worked at Whitten Center for over 20 years.  She said the residents love the motorcycles.
