Here is an update on Christmas cards for our military.

Walter Reed WILL accept cards. However, instead of addressing them to "A Recovering Soldier" (those will be returned), they need to be addressed as follows:

Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001

Attention: Soldier Family Assistance Center

Bethesda Naval Center is accepting cards for sailors and Marines. The Chief of Operations said they will not only be given to wounded in the hospital, the cards will also be shipped overseas.
Cards for the Navy or Marines may be sent to:

Fleet and Family Support Center
Bethesda Naval Hospital
8901 Wisconsin Avenue
Bethesda, MD 20889

And don't forget to write on the envelope - "IN GOD WE TRUST"

What a grand gesture - A small return for what they do for us.

As you work on your Christms cards, take a few minutes and send a few more out to some of our military.
