Charlie Pulcine's mother Lillian was admitted to the Critical Care Unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital today. She had undergone a procedure on her heart to repair a hole and the results were not what they expected. She will be undergoing open heart surgery on Monday to repair the hole. It will be about a 3 hour procedureand She will be in the hospital for about 5 days after surgery. Please keep Lillian in your thoughts and prayers this week-end and on Monday that all goes well during her surgery and that she has a speedy recovery.

Yesterday Lillian had open heart surgery and came through the surgery just fine. She is still in the Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital until she can be weaned off of the breathing machine. They had hoped she would be moved from I.C.U. today but maybe tomorrow. She is being sedated to help her rest at this time. I will try to find out tomorrow if she gets to go to a room.

Lillian has done wonderful after her surgery. I was out eating just recently and she came into the resturant. She said she felt good but could only talk softly. She said it would take a little longer for her voice to come back and it was messed up because of the tube that had been in her throat. It was truly wonderful to see her doing so good and already out a little bit.
