April 15. (Tuesday) “The Wall that Heals” Escort Ride. The Patriot Guard and others will escort the traveling Vietnam Wall in to SC. Expect over 800 bikes for this police escorted ride for 22 miles from I-26 to the USC Upstate Campus. Staging at 11am at the Spinx Station at the intersection of Hwy 14 and Hwy 11. Lunch at 12 sharp. Arrive on the USC Upstate campus at 3pm. No interstate travel. Fly your flags! This half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans memorial in Washington, D.C. will be on display behind the Administration Building on the Main Quad and is free and open to the public 24-hours a day April 17 - April 20.

Ride for Chelsey Community Event at New Chapman High School sponsored by Foothills Thunder Motorcycle Club. 17 year-old Chelsey was on her way to join her youth group at Inman First Baptist when she was involved in a car accident in October. April 19, Easley, SC. 12th Annual Ride for the Child benefits Prevent child Abuse Pickens County. Reg 10-12 at BI-LO on Hwy 123 in Easley. $25 per vehicle includes one poker hand. $10 for extra hands.
